RedFest is a music, cultural and agricultural festival held in September in Cleveland, just 25 minutes east of Brisbane on beautiful Moreton Bay.
RedFest is Redland City’s premier event and boasts musicians and artists from across the globe. For two and half days, Redlands Showground becomes a magical blaze of colour, a symphony of beautiful sounds, and celebration of our amazing community.
Hundreds of the world’s best performers – singers, dancers, poets, artists – come to Redlands to entertain and share their skills across multiple venues with a jammed-packed program.
The ticket prices are the envy of all festivals – there is simply no better value offered anywhere else for this amazing program.
Kids are KING with a venue and program just for them, Sideshow alley, spectacular fireworks, the world-famous Strawberry Eating Competition and the illuminating Lantern Parade.
RedFest is a not-for-profit community organisation – a festival delivered by the community, for the community. it is not a Council event. Each year a hardworking volunteer Committee develops the program for RedFest and actively seeks sponsorship to support the cost of producing the event for Festival Patrons.
The Current RedFest Committee is:
President: Peter Goleby
Vice President: Lee Nelson
Treasurer: Garry Skene
Secretary: Michael ‘China’ Walker
Members: Adrian Addicott, Rowena Plant, Stuart McQueen, Justina Cassidy, Kathy Huf, Kay Howick, Betty Goleby, Sandra Hodder
Life Members: Peter Williams, Peter Goleby, Bill Sedgwick.
A host of volunteers then support the smooth running of the festival during the weekend.
