AITC Pitching in to Support RedFest

28 August 2018 | Updated: 11:14am, 31 August 2018

RedFest would like to give a big thankyou to the Australian Industry Trade College (AITC) who are once again providing their support over the festival weekend.

AITC students will be on-site assisting with the main move-in and out of the showgrounds in addition to providing transport for performers between the airport, accommodation and RedFest throughout the weekend.

RedFest is a non-profit organisation and would not be possible without the support of AITC and other volunteer organisations and individuals.

About AITC

At the Australian Industry Trade College (AITC), Year 10, 11 and 12 students finish their secondary education while beginning a school based apprenticeship - completing their Queensland Certificate of Education while undertaking a paid apprenticeship in the industry of their choice.

With over 600 apprenticeships and traineeships on offer in all major industries, Young People are supported in their search for a suitable apprenticeship or traineeship by the AITC's Employment Consultants, whose role it is to liaise with employers and to coach and mentor the students.

Since opening the independent college in 2008, over 90% of AITC students have graduated with a full time apprenticeship. The College has three Campuses in Robina, Redlands and Sunshine Coast.
