RedFest popped up at the Stockland Cleveland shopping centre on Saturday for a fun filled morning of song, strawberry eating contests, lantern decorating and colouring!
The pop up festival gave saturday shoppers a small taste of the fun that will be on offer at RedFest next weekend, with many taking the chance to get in early and munch on plates of fresh strawberries or decorate a beautiful lantern.
Throughout the morning visitors were also entertained with wonderful performances from the contestants that are singing their hearts out for victory in the Redlands Sporting Club Vocal Competition. The contestants, aged 12 and up, have been battling it out through the last five weeks of heats and semi-finals held at the Redlands Sporting Club and will be performing in the finals at RedFest on Saturday 9th.
Luke Kinman, Festival Director, said "We had a lot of fun on Saturday and certainly launched RedFest in style. Now we're looking forward to next weekend as it all kicks off in earnest on Friday night. it's going to be an amazing weekend full of great performers and activities for the whole family!"
We hope to see you there! If you haven't already purchased your tickets you can pre-purchase online at RPAC or just come along and get them at the gate. Don't forget to check out the program so you don't miss any of the great entertainment.
